Hello Mama! 

Im Ivy, I was born here in little Maungatapere at a home birth at my grandparents house. I have a husband and 4 beautiful little wildlings. I have a huge passion for motherhood, empowering women and supporting mums to be on their journeys. Incorporating two of my loves, I took the leap into Birth Photography and haven't looked back.

The emotions and memories in the room when we bring a new soul into the world deserve to be remembered.

Once you have a feel for who I am, and if you think I am the one for you and your family, we can go ahead with booking. From then on, if you feel, you can keep me updated with how things are ticking along in your pregnancy, this gives us time to get to know one another a little and lets me know of anything I may need to prepare for too. At around 35 weeks or once you have made your birth wishes with your midwife we will meet up so we can talk about how your birth space and wishes looks for you, this is so i am fully aware of special moments i may need to capture and of course to go over your expectations of me as a member of your birthing team. This also gives you and anyone else who may be present at your birth the opportunity to meet and spend a little more time with me so i am not an unfamiliar face and energy entering the room while you are birthing. 

ON call - From 38 weeks, you will have me on call - the same as you would your midwife. At the smallest sign of labour, you (or a support person) can keep me updated on how you are progressing etc. Letting me know early signs gives me an opportunity to arrange my own family before joining yours. Once you are in established labour (around 6 cms - once your midwife or care provider has confirmed this), I will head to your house/ hospital to begin capturing the moments of bringing your new babe earthside! 

I will stay for around an hour post birth. 

Because of the nature and unpredictability of births, I only book 1-2 births per month.

OFF call - An alternative with a lesser fee, this is on an 'if available basis'. In most instances I will be able to make the birth, but if for whatever reason I am not, I will get to you as soon as I can. This does not guarantee your birth will be captured but you will have me come to you within the 48hours after of birth.

You pay a 50% deposit.

The remaining fee:

If birth was attended, full off-call fee ($700.00 total)

If birth was missed, you will be scheduled for a Fresh 48 session, for a fee totalling $550.00.

Your investment entitles you to having me on call from 38 weeks, photography from established labour

(around 6 cms - once your midwife or care provider has confirmed this),

up to 1 hour post labour, sneak peak watermarked images within 48 hours and your gallery for download.

On the day, when we are all waiting to meet your babe, I will support you when you need it and I will be there for you when you need an extra hand.
